Each House has its own Dining Room led by the House Chef and Cornell Dining staff.

Chef Kris graduated from Paul Smiths College of Arts and Sciences in 2000 with an associate’s degree in Culinary Arts. He then completed his externship under White House Chef John Hill at the famous Wigwam resort in Phoenix, AZ. He has had many Chef rolls over the years including, Chef de Cuisine at Turning Stone Resort and Casino a four star four diamond resort casino located in Oneida, NY, Corporate Chef for American Food and Vending a fortune 500 company based out of Syracuse, NY, Executive Chef of the Colgate Inn (Colgate University’s Luxury Hotel) located in Hamilton, NY, and most recently the Executive Chef of Skaneateles Country Club which overlooks Skaneateles Lake in Skaneateles, NY.

Chef Kris is known for being a pioneer in the local food movement in the central NY area. Growing up in central NY, farm to table was a way of life and he is passionate about serving seasonal fresh ingredients. He loves all cuisines and has a wide range of experience after working with chefs from around the world. He continues to learn and grow as a culinarian and is a student of cuisine. He is honored to become part of the Bethe community and hopes to enhance your dining experience.
