The Graduate Resident Fellow (GRF) lives in a West Campus House and supports the House Professor-Dean, Assistant Dean, and House Fellows in creating a positive, vibrant and academically engaging residential community; serves as mentor, and role model to undergraduate residents; and serves in a leadership role for academic enrichment by promoting a variety of programs and activities.
Zinab is an Afghan American hailing from Northern Virginia. She is a third-year PhD student in the department of Government.
Aalayna (she/her) hails from the Great Lakes State of Michigan where she spent summers playing softball, swimming, and burning marshmallows around the campfire with her family.
Chijioke is from Nsukka, Enugu State of Nigeria, and has lived in Ithaca since 2020. He joined the Bethe House team in the Fall of 2021.
At Cornell, Naomi works in multiple enginnering departments to develop high-power electronics.
Juhwan is a sociologist with training in sociolegal studies, ethnic studies, and queer studies.
Being a nomad has been an indispensable part of my life. I am grateful that joining the Bethe family in 2021 has marked a significant chapter in my relatively long dwelling in Ithaca.
