Alice is the Program Manager of the Cornell East Asia Program. This is her first year in Ithaca and she is excited to join the Bethe community. In her spare time, she enjoys dabbling in the culture of hiking and making mediocre stir-fries. 

A typical transfer student, Alice completed her BA in Anthropology and Classical Languages at the University of California, Berkeley by way of Pasadena City College. She received her PhD in Anthropology from the University of Chicago, where she was also a Teaching Fellow. She has interned at Chicago Public Schools, Ghost Island Media, and NPR. Although she is from the great state of California, she feels most at home in Chicago and Milwaukee.
