Undergraduate Resident Fellow
Senior in Biomedical Engineering

Silene is currently a senior in the College of Engineering, majoring in Biomedical Engineering. She is from Puerto Rico and her passion for medicine and programming stems from my aspiration to improve the medical environment across the island. Silene is also the Social Chair of Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES), which helps her work on professional outreach and communications.

Outside of academics, Silene's hobbies include soccer, which has led her to travel across multiple countries across South America, digital art with 3D modeling, and hiking. Visiting the botanical gardens back home and in Cornell brings her a lot of pleasure and helps her relax before busy exam seasons.
